Our Mission is to Provide Detail-Oriented Research Support in a Collaborative Work Environment

Our projects have focused on biometrics, security screening, credibility assessment, malintent and lie detection, the effectiveness of different interviewing methodologies in eliciting information, intelligence forecasting, and clinical trials investigating treatments for substance use disorders.

Meet Our Senior Staff

Dan

Dan is principal investigator and experimental lead on all MRAC projects. In 1999, Dan joined the faculty at Yale University where he conducted several multi-site clinical trials for substance use disorders treatment in conjunction with internationally established pharmaceutical companies. He also has over 25 years of experience training hundreds of individuals in motivational interviewing with resistant populations. In 2006, Dan began investigating security issues with several government agencies including the Department of Homeland Security and founded MRAC with his wife, Jennifer. Dan received his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Ohio University and completed predoctoral and postdoctoral training at Yale University. He is board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology. He is licensed in Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New York.


Jennifer Martin

Jen is responsible for establishing protocols and procedures for lab and applied studies, supervising and training research staff, preparing manuscripts for publication, presenting results, and making actionable recommendations to senior level professionals. Prior to her work with MRAC, Jen excelled in market research for global brands and academic settings. Jen received her Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology from Ohio University.


Jason

Jason has managed numerous government research projects spanning a variety of topics and utilizing unique protocols for over 15 years. Jason’s responsibilities include supervising protocol planning, development, implementation, and operation of human subject testing. He excels at the oversight of participant recruitment, screening, scheduling, and study execution. Prior to his employment with MRAC, he served as a Case Manager, Intervention Specialist, and Assistant Program Director of a Connecticut Court Support Services Division-sponsored diversionary program in the state of Connecticut. Jason received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Connecticut.

MRAC’s employees come from a variety of disciplines with academic and professional backgrounds. This allows MRAC to tailor each project to fit our customers’ needs. In addition, MRAC utilizes a broad network of consultants from academia and applied settings across the U.S.
